SUMMARY:

Child support; retroactivity. Authorizes the courts and the Department of Social Services to make child support determinations retroactively to the date of filing of an action in court proceedings or delivery to the process server in administrative actions. In utilizing the guidelines, the courts and the Department may use the parties' gross monthly income averaged over the period of retroactivity.
