SUMMARY:

Voluntary Apprenticeship Programs. Directs the Board for the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) to establish policies to coordinate apprentice-related instruction in state and local public education agencies. The Apprenticeship Council is to advise the Board regarding these policies. With VCCS approval, the Chancellor must provide for the administration and supervision of related and supplemental instruction for apprentices.
