SUMMARY:
Use of firearm in commission of felony. Establishes a distinction between the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and the use of an assault firearm in the commission of a felony. Use of an assault firearm has a penalty of six years (eight years for subsequent offenses) as opposed to three years for use of a firearm (five years for subsequent offenses).
