HB 40 Tow trucks; registration.

SUMMARY:

Tow trucks. Requires all tow trucks to be registered under and subject to the requirements of § 46.2-649.1. Accordingly, Virginia-registered tow trucks would be exempt from registration under the international registration plan and from any other state registration requirements. All tow trucks would have to carry commercial liability insurance coverage of at least $750,000.
