SUMMARY:
Criminal records. Requires all offense references in reports made to state-supported criminal records data bases to include the Virginia Crime Code number assigned by the Department of Criminal Justice Services. This bill was recommended by the Virginia Criminal Sentencing Commission in order to more accurately assess an offender's criminal record.
