SUMMARY:
Aggravated malicious wounding. Provides that for purposes of aggravated malicious wounding, (punishable as a Class 2 felony) causing the victim to suffer an involuntary termination of a pregnancy constitutes "significant permanent physical impairment" which is an element of the offense."
The bill also makes murder of an unborn, viable human offspring, other than by lawful abortion, with the intent to cause the death of that offspring or of any other person, murder in the first degree if willful, deliberate and premeditated or murder in the second degree if not premeditated.
