1996 SESSION
HB 17 School buses.
Introduced by: Ward L. Armstrong | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
School buses. Clarifies that the prohibition on driving yellow vehicles capable of seating more than 15 people, except for the purpose of transporting students, the elderly or handicapped persons, applies only if the vehicle otherwise fits the definition of a school bus (i.e., has the words "school bus" on the front and back and is equipped with approved warning lights). This amendment would allow for general use of large yellow vans.
