SUMMARY:

Council on Information Management; membership of Virginia-Technology Council. Eliminates the Advisory Committee on Mapping, Surveying, and Land Information Systems. The bill also designates the Director of the Council on Information Management to be the chief information officer for the Commonwealth and adds him as a member of the Virginia Technology Council. As a result, membership on the Virginia Technology Council is increased from 18 to 19.
