SUMMARY:
Satisfaction and discharge of criminal assault charge. Provides that an assault charge against a family or household member may not be dismissed upon a satisfaction and discharge, i.e., the acknowledgment by the victim that he has been compensated for the civil wrong will not suffice to dismiss the criminal charge.
