SUMMARY:
Virginia Taxpayer Bill of Rights. Creates for state tax purposes a Virginia Taxpayer Bill of Rights which guarantees that the rights, privacy, and property of Virginia taxpayers are adequately safeguarded and protected during tax assessment, collection, and enforcement processes administered under the tax laws of the Commonwealth. The bill takes effect July 1, 1997.
