SUMMARY:

Alcoholic beverage control; sale of mixers by the Board. Authorizes the ABC Board to buy and sell "mixers" which are defined in the bill as any prepackaged ingredients containing beverages of flavoring or coloring materials, and which may also contain water, fruit juices, fruit adjuncts, sugar, carbon dioxide, or preservatives, which are not commonly consumed unless combined with alcoholic beverages, whether or not such ingredients contain alcohol, and provided such specialty beverage products are manufactured or distributed by a Virginia corporation. The bill also contains technical amendments.
