SUMMARY:
Sales and use tax exemption; nonprofit community and service organizations. Grants a sales and use tax exemption for purchases by any nonprofit organization operated for the exclusive purpose of operating a long-term residential drug and alcohol treatment program featuring drug and family counseling, twelve-step programs, academic education and religious development, for young men ages thirteen through seventeen. Mid-Atlantic Teen Challenge would be among the beneficiaries of the exemption.
