1996 SESSION
HB 1387 Long-term care.
Introduced by: Raymond R. Guest, Jr. | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Long-term care. Directs the Departments of Social Services and Medical Assistance Services to develop a voucher payment system which would encourage or provide incentive for increased use of intermediate levels of care. The bill also allows the provision of home health care in adult care residences for auxiliary grant recipients if determined by their physician that such care is appropriate. This amendment would allow additional clients to remain in ACRs rather than nursing homes.
