SUMMARY:
School health services; liability protections. Requires school boards, in order to limit liability exposure and to provide appropriate and safe health services, to authorize the delivery of health services by a health professional licensed or certified by a health regulatory board within the Department of Health Professions, if the specific health service to be delivered is one which, when delivered in a health care facility or clinic, must be delivered by or under the supervision of a licensed or certified professional.
