SUMMARY:
Juvenile corrections; facilities. Allows the Department for Youth and Family Services to build, operate, or contract for juvenile detention facilities to augment local homes. Costs for care would be either according to an agreement with the jurisdiction sending the juvenile or, in the absence of an agreement, the actual cost of care. Agreements with localities to pay a portion of the construction costs are also permitted.
