SUMMARY:
Unemployment compensation; employing unit. Excludes real estate salespersons and real estate appraisers from coverage under the Virginia Unemployment Compensation Act if (i) in the case of real estate salespersons, such salespersons are working under the direction of a licensed real estate broker and (ii) in the case of real estate appraisers, such appraisers are working pursuant to executed independent contractor agreements and for remuneration solely by way of commission or fee.
