SUMMARY:

Medicaid. Provides that the Board of Medical Assistance Services shall provide in the state plan for medical assistance services a provision identifying entities approved by the Board to receive applications and determine eligibility for medical assistance. Currently local departments of social services receive Medicaid applications and determine eligibility. This bill will allow the Board to approve other entities to perform these functions.
