SUMMARY:

Highways; city and town street payments. Authorizes payment to cities and certain towns for construction or reconstruction of their streets, provided that those streets meet applicable standards set by the Department of Transportation. This bill further provides that cities and towns receiving payments make annual reports detailing the use of these payments, and that such annual reports be subject to the annual audit of the municipality receiving funds. This is a duplicate of SB 267.
