SUMMARY:

Security for performance for land-disturbing activities. Limits the amount of the security for performance that an agency issuing a permit for a land-disturbing activity can require. The amount of the bond or other security may not exceed the total estimated cost of the appropriate conservation action, plus a reasonable allowance for estimated administrative costs and inflation. The bill also provides that the performance guarantee shall be refunded as projects or sections of the land-disturbing activity are stabilized.
