SUMMARY:

Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel Commission. Provides that all members of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel Commission appointed or reappointed on or after July 1, 1996, shall be appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation by each house of the General Assembly. This bill further provides that the Governor may remove a member from office for just cause. Technical amendments have been made to correct locality names for those that no longer exist as separate entities because of consolidations.
