SUMMARY:

Surplus lines insurance. Modifies the reporting requirements for surplus lines brokers. The bill changes from monthly to quarterly the frequency of filings with the State Corporation Commission and permits all accounts written for the quarterly period to appear on one blanket affidavit. Under current law, an affidavit is required to be filed on each policy written in the surplus lines insurance market.
