SUMMARY:
Local grievance procedure. Provides that, notwithstanding the contrary provisions of the local grievance procedures, a final panel decision which would result in the reinstatement of an employee of the sheriff's office who has been terminated for cause may be reviewed by the circuit court for the locality upon the petition of the locality. The review of the circuit court shall be limited to the question of whether the panel's decision was consistent with provisions of law and written policy.
