1996 SESSION
HB 1103 Charging the offense of driving while intoxicated.
Introduced by: Terry G. Kilgore | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Charging the offense of driving while intoxicated. Allows a charge of violation of the DUI section as a whole to support a conviction under any subdivision. This change removes the "defense" available in some jurisdictions of compelling the Commonwealth to elect under which subdivision of the DUI statute the defendant is to be charged.
