SUMMARY:
Prisons and jails; prisoner programs. Prohibits in jails or prisons inmate participation in any form of strength training activities and removes current strength training equipment to a location for use by public safety personnel. There are exceptions for training for therapeutic or rehabilitative purposes but such must be done under direct medical supervision in an area inaccessible to the inmate population. Other sports would still be allowed pursuant to guidelines adopted by the Board.
