SUMMARY:
Virginia Retirement System; retirement benefits of certain deputy sheriffs and jail officers. Requires deputy sheriffs and jail officers employed by a regional jail authority to receive the same retirement benefits as sheriffs, who receive benefits equivalent to those provided to state police officers in the State Police Officers' Retirement System.
