Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 37.1-182.2 as follows:

§37.1-182.2. Certification of qualified providers.

The Department may promulgate regulations governing certification of (i) individuals who provide consultation in behavior analysis under the Mental Retardation Community Waiver, and (ii) providers of State Plan Option Targeted Case Management Services in accordance with the provisions of the State Plan for Medical Assistance.
