HOUSE BILL NO. 97 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the Senate Committee for Courts of Justice on February 26, 1996) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate Morgan) A BILL to amend and reenact § 37.1-135 of the Code of Virginia, relating to bonds of fiduciaries.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 37.1-135 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 37.1-135. Bond required.

The court making an appointment of a fiduciary pursuant to the provisions of this chapter, shall take from such a bond in such penalty and with such or without surety, as it may deem sufficient.
