9603251461. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 54.1-3102.1 as follows:
§ 54.1-3102.1. Requirements for licensure.
The Board shall issue a nursing home administrator's license to an individual who (i) holds a baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university, (ii) successfully demonstrates a minimum of twenty years of executive experience as an officer in the home office of one or more multi-facility nursing home companies, (iii) has had a minimum of four years executive responsibility for the operation of one or more nursing homes and (iv) has received a passing grade on the state examination and national examination.
