Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. Notwithstanding any provision of Title 33.1 of the Code of Virginia or any regulation or action of the Commonwealth Transportation Board, to the extent not inconsistent with the provisions of any applicable trust indenture, tolls for use of the George P. Coleman Memorial Bridge (U.S. Route 17) across the York River at Yorktown shall be imposed according to the following schedule:

For commuter passenger cars and commuter pickup and panel trucks: fifty cents;

For all noncommuter two-axle vehicles: two dollars;

For commuter vehicles having three or more axles: two dollars; and

For noncommuter vehicles having three or more axles: eight dollars.

For the purposes of this section, "commuter passenger cars and commuter pickup and panel trucks" shall mean passenger cars and pickup and panel trucks that cross the George P. Coleman Memorial Bridge at least three times in three consecutive months and "commuter vehicles having three or more axles" shall mean vehicles having three or more axles that cross the George P. Coleman Memorial Bridge at least three times in one month.
