A BILL relating to powers of the City of Richmond.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. Notwithstanding any contrary provision of law, general or special, the City of Richmond may sell any cemetery owned by it, provided the City, as a condition of any such sale, shall require the purchaser to comply with the requirements of Article 3.2 (§ 57-35.11 et seq.) of Chapter 3 of Title 57.

§ 2. Notwithstanding any contrary provision of law, general or special, the City of Richmond, whenever required to publish a notice, may cause such notice to be published in any newspaper of general circulation in the city.
