HOUSE BILL NO. 1250 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the House Committee on Rules on February 6, 1996) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate O'Brien) A BILL to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Chapter 3.1 of Title 30 a section numbered 30-34.10:4, relating to access to electronic information distribution network sites by General Assembly members.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Chapter 3.1 of Title 30 a section numbered 30-34.10:4 as follows:

§ 30-34.10:4. Electronic information distribution sites for General Assembly members.

The Commission, in coordination with the House and Senate Clerks and through the Division of Legislative Automated Systems, may assist members of the General Assembly to link with an electronic information distribution network site, which a member of the General Assembly may independently acquire for these purposes.
