CHAPTER 687 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 24.2-914.1, relating to campaign finance disclosure reports; standards for automated reports. [H 802] Approved April 6, 1996

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 24.2-914.1 as follows:

§ 24.2-914.1. State Board of Elections to approve standards for automated preparation, production, and transmittal of campaign finance disclosure reports.

The State Board of Elections shall cause to be developed and shall approve standards for the preparation, production, and transmittal by computer or electronic means of the reports of contributions and expenditures required by this article.
