CHAPTER 487 An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 63.1-198.03:1, relating to complaints against child welfare agencies. [H 478] Approved April 1, 1996

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 63.1-198.03:1 as follows:

§ 63.1-198.03:1. Retaliation against reports of child abuse or neglect.

No child welfare agency may retaliate in any manner against any person who in good faith reports child abuse or neglect pursuant to § 63.1-248.1 et seq.
