SUMMARY:

Study; state funding of public institutions of higher education. Requests the State Council of Higher Education of Virginia (SCHEV) to study the funding of the Commonwealth's public institutions of higher education. SCHEV is to consider, among other things, current funding levels and practices for comprehensive and two-year institutions in the Commonwealth and in other states; the individual missions of these institutions; recent institutional restructuring plans; and other issues as it deems appropriate. Identical to HJR 519.
