SUMMARY:

Study; feasibility of locating a convention center in Northern Virginia. Requests the Secretary of Commerce and Trade to study the feasibility of locating an International Convention and Exposition Center in Northern Virginia. In conducting the feasibility study, the Secretary shall appoint a task force composed of business leaders, citizens, and elected officials from primarily the City of Alexandria and the Counties Arlington, Fairfax and Loudoun and shall seek the assistance of a consultant with knowledge of commercial development and economic and fiscal feasibility studies.
