SUMMARY:
Disclosure requirements for retirement systems. Requires automated retirement systems, which are administered by the Virginia Retirement System or the localities, with assets of over $50 million to submit an annual report to include the system's annual audit, a summary of investment strategy, a description of the system's investments, information on the rate of return, and other material. The report will be filed with the Governor and the General Assembly (for the VRS) or with the local governing bodies (for local retirement systems).
