SUMMARY:

Coalbed methane wells; pooling orders; coal operator consent. Requires that pooling orders authorizing the drilling and operation of coalbed methane wells include authorization for coal seam stimulation. The Virginia Gas and Oil Board may provide the necessary consent in such pooling orders for the stimulation when the operator of the coal bed to be affected cannot be found.
