SUMMARY:
Local health departments; receipt of private donations. Allows local health departments to receive private donations in support of Virginia Health Care Foundation projects or other preventive or primary health care projects. The bill provides that funds designated for the Virginia Health Care Foundation will be segregated and will not revert to the general fund nor be counted in calculations for operating funds in the biennial budget. This is a recommendation of the Joint Health Care Commission.
