SUMMARY:

Interpreters in criminal proceedings. Requires that interpreter services be provided to a criminal victim who is deaf or non-English speaking unless the court finds that he does not require interpreter services. Current law requires a showing of good cause and a request by the Commonwealth's attorney for any such appointment.
