SUMMARY:
Reimbursement of expenses incurred in responding to DUI incidents. Allows localities and volunteer rescue squads to recover up to $1,000 in expenses incurred in responding to accidents caused by a convicted impaired driver of a vehicle or operator of a watercraft. Currently the provisions apply only to Virginia Beach. HB 1524 and HB 1431 are identical.
