SB 804 Motor Vehicle Scrappage Program.

SUMMARY:

Motor Vehicle Scrappage Program. Repeals Chapter 885 of the Acts of Assembly of 1993 creating a motor vehicle scrappage program for Northern Virginia. This act included a July 1, 1996, “sunset.” Repeal of Chapter 885 eliminates a possible conflict with and confusion arising from Chapter 886 of 1993. This latter act created a statewide motor vehicle scrappage program without a “sunset.”
