SUMMARY:

State and Local Government Conflict of Interests Act; disclosures by certain local government officers and employees. Requires elected or appointed members of local school boards to file a disclosure form of their personal interests and such other information as is specified on the disclosure form as a condition to assuming office and annually thereafter on or before January 15. The bill also amends the definition of “officer” to include local school boards. As a result it is clear that school board members are covered under the State and Local Government Conflict of Interests Act.
