SUMMARY:
Abatement or removal of nuisances by municipalities. Provides in a § 1 bill that Portsmouth, described by population, and volunteer emergency medical squads that respond to places of business or public events because of crowd disturbances, etc., may recover in a civil action from the owner of the business or promoter of the event up to $1,000 to cover their response expenses where such owner or promoter was negligent in not providing for adequate crowd control. HB 1486 is identical.
