SUMMARY:

Charter; City of Virginia Beach. Deletes the specific dollar amounts for compensation of the council members and the mayor and references general law. The bill also requires an affirmative vote of two-thirds of the members of council before calling a bond referendum and repeals provisions relating to the office of high constable and justice of the peace.
