SUMMARY:

Sales and use tax exemption; nonprofit civic and community service organizations. Exempts from the tax personal property bought or sold by certain nonprofit organizations organized and operated for the primary purpose of restoring wilderness lands and wildlife habitat. The exemption is retroactive to January 1, 1995. The American Environment Foundation would be among the beneficiaries of this section. Incorporated into SB 704.
