SUMMARY:
Sales tax exemption. Exempts certain nonprofit organizations from the tax if such organizations are operated to hold, manage, preserve, and exhibit a Virginia estate and home of the first President of the United States, as well as to conduct certain other ancillary activities. The Mt. Vernon Ladies Association would be among the beneficiaries of this exemption. Incorporated into SB 704.
