SUMMARY:
Bifurcated sentencing. Allows the prosecution to provide and use a certified copy of the defendant's record from DMV rather than the record of conviction. However, if there is a disagreement concerning the contents of the DMV record, the prosecution must provide a copy of the record of conviction within two days.
