SB 619 Speed limits in highway work zones.

SUMMARY:

Speed limits. Eliminates reference to “reduced” speed limits in highway work zones. This has the effect of no longer requiring that work zone speed limits be lower than they otherwise would be for someone speeding in such a zone to be guilty of speeding in a work zone (rather than “ordinary” speeding).
