SUMMARY:
Virginia Welfare Reform Demonstration Project. Creates a funding mechanism for the demonstration project by transferring an amount equal to the previous year's income tax paid by persons participating in the project to the Job Investment Trust Fund established by § 63.1-133.30. While identifying a funding source, a budget amendment is necessary to authorize the transfer of funds from the state treasury to the Trust Fund. The act will be effective for taxable years beginning on and after January 1, 1995.
