SUMMARY:
Capital murder. Expands the provision authorizing imposition of the death penalty for capital murder of a police officer to include law-enforcement officers from other states or the United States. Currently, the reference to § 9-169 (9) limits it to law-enforcement officers of this Commonwealth who are responsible for the prevention and detection of crime and enforcement of the law.
